A good question . . .

You might ask, "why would CI provide services for free?" Despite the rapid commercialization of the computing world, the founder of CI is still a strong believer of the concept of public domain, freeware, and shareware. CI is his appreciation of early computer development.

A Brief History

CI was originally founded by Chieh Cheng in 1988 when the freeware, TEXTMODE for DOS was first released. In 1990, Pro Labeler for DOS was released as shareware and the company was "officially" established. Since then, Cynosure.X International has released a number of DOS, Windows, OS/2, and Java software as freeware and shareware.

For each visitor to our Web page, our Web server automatically recognizes no information regarding the domain or e-mail address.

We collect the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail, aggregate information on what pages consumers access or visit, information volunteered by the consumer, such as survey information and/or site registrations and no information on consumers who browse our Web page.

The information we collect is used for internal review and is then discarded, used to improve the content of our Web page, used to customize the content and/or layout of our page for each individual consumer and not shared with other organizations for commercial purposes.
